Privacy notice
Reading a review here is anonymous in the ordinary sense: you never sign in, subscribe, comment or pay. Three things still record visits, and each is listed below.
1. Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 runs on every page. Its cookies let Google collect which reviews were opened, the type of device and browser, the page you came from, any click on a link to a retailer or other outside site, and an approximate location Google infers. We read those totals to see which product reviews are useful and where the coverage falls short.
To stop it, block cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on. Google describes its own practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Server requests
Our hosting provider logs requests in the usual way, including the request time, URL and user agent. Those logs serve security and day-to-day operation.
3. Bot visits
Search engine and AI crawlers, identified by user agent, are logged on their own: bot name, path, time. Nothing about human readers goes into that log, and no IP address is kept in it.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. If you email us, your message is used to reply to you.
